Bitmain to Unveil Platform that Connects Miners to Suitable Mining Farms

The leading mining equipment manufacturer and the company behind the infamous Antminer s9, Bitmain, will be launching the first ever platform that allows mining equipment to be connected to mining farms and make it easier for mining enthusiasts to generate crypto. As per the press release the platform, dubbed World Digital Mining Map (WDMM), will be revealed during the World Digital Mining Summit (WDMS) being held in Frankfurt from October 8 – 10.

Miners often find it difficult to locate a suitable location that has the right conditions and have plenty of power resources while being friendly to the pockets, WDMM will make this endeavour hassle-free and will allow miners to be connected with mining farms that have available sources of power and would be willing to host them for a price. Matthew Wang, Director of Mining Farm of Bitmain, showed his enthusiasm:

“The WDMM will help make cryptocurrency mining more sustainable in the long-run by connecting mining farms and hardware owners in a whole new way. It is part of our commitment to provide miners with on-going support throughout their hardware’s lifetime and to support the sector’s overall growth.”

For owners of the mining farms, they can get their farms listed on WDMM at the WDMS. Applicants need to provide complete details about their farms that include current mining setup and their capacity to host other miners. Those getting listed will receive various benefits from Bitmain that include assistance with designing the farms, connections to customers, support with operations, purchasing and construction. One of the happy mining farm owners who got listed on WDMM, Gregory Ohanessian, chief mining officer of VC Mining, commented:

“Being listed on the WDMM helped me to find miners who want to host their rigs in my facility. Bitmain was able to connect me with the right customers to fill in the extra capacity I had. This is the support I needed to help me expand my facility at a faster pace.”

Bitmain has seen quite a success with its mining equipment considered the best in the business. The Antminer S17e and T17e have seen a lot of success and were sold out quickly. Miners have been really active recently which can easily be perceived if one looks at the current Bitcoin hash rate which has been touching new highs.
