‘Community’ might be an overused word in cryptocurrency, but it’s one of the most important pieces of this abstract puzzle we are all a part of.
A community is simply a group of individuals that have certain attributes, attitudes or interests in common. As a result of these shared characteristics, this group of individuals is brought together through commonalities which can create a strong, meaningful bond.
The internet has brought communities together by providing places to hang out, interact and engage with one another across the entire world. In today’s digital landscape communities are becoming increasingly important still. Especially here, in our slightly weird and wonderful niche of cryptocurrency, communities are thriving.
There are Ethereum fanatics, Tron maximialists, XRP evangelicals, Bitcoin Cash followers and many more vibrant communities. Crypto has shown that digital communities are extremely valuable and that’s why so many new cryptocurrency projects are so keen to build up one of their own.
The power of Bethereum’s community
The Bethereum team discovered the key ingredients to growing a loyal, engaged community. It is imperative to provide top tier support, exceptional customer service, consistent effort and non-stop engagement. It’s tough – but it’s worth it to grow a community that other projects are envious of.
The community has been an integral part of Bethereum’s focus since the inception of the company. There is continuous work and strategizing put towards devising the next upcoming way to engage the Bethereum community – lovingly named the Bethereans.
Of course – it’s a two way street. Bethereum are always free to listen to what the community has to say. Here’s why:
This is done to keep our players happy and engaged, and of course to make them want to bring their friends to play too, but we feel we benefit from this in more ways. Listening to ideas and feedback from our community members, who naturally share with us the enthusiasm and interest in what we do, helps us to constantly improve. – Bethereum medium
In short, by going above and beyond to create an excellent experience for the community, Bethereum theorizes that community members will feel inclined to play and compete more, or chat and share with their friends more frequently using the Bethereum platform.
Why are communities so important?
A devoted group that supports and uses your product, platform or service is an extremely powerful asset. Dedicated supporters will go to the moon and back for you and will promote your services as much as they can.
Communities are keen to get involved and contribute towards the success of their favourite projects. This means that communities are a great source of product initiatives and ideas – great for the development of any project.
By keeping a community happy, crypto projects are able to spread their brand image and grow their business with less marketing spend than competitors without the community backing. Product champions that tirelessly promote a product can be the best growth tool available.
A look into the Bethereans world
It’s no good just telling you that Bethereum has a strong, engaged community. So we can show you too.
At the end of 2019 Bethereum hosted a Twitter competition where the community joined in to share themselves using Bethereum anywhere. An endless stream of pictures came flooding in, showing Bethereum users around the world placing bets and having fun in the most unlikely places.
Even after the competition ended the photos kept coming – just showing how strong and passionate the Bethereum community is. Here are a few of our favourites.
