Makers Foundation Acts Swiftly to Avoid a Possible Hacking Situation

The Interim Risk Team of the Makers Foundation has developed some governance polls and integrated them into the voting system. These polls include the DAI Savings Rate adjustment, SAI stability fee adjustment, DAI stability fee adjustment, and the governance security module.

The Maker Governance Security Module

There is a governance poll in the voting system that will be used to activate the governance security module. The governance poll will be active for three days as of 9th December at 5 PM UTC. After the polls are concluded, on Friday, an executive vote will be held where the MKR token holders will be asked whether they support or reject the changes proposed by the governance poll.

The Dai Savings Rate Adjustment

A governance poll has been integrated into the voting system to show the possible number of Dai Savings Rate. With this integration, voters will be able to show their support within a range of 0% to 8%. The poll will be made active on 9th December for three days, and at the end of the three days, an executive vote will be held, and the MKR token holders will be asked if they support the changes or not.

Dai Stability Fee Adjustment

DAI stability options will be presented by a governance poll integrated into the voting system. A range of 0 to 8 percent is presented to the voters to show their support for the DAI stability fee. The governance poll will be activated on 9th December and remain active for three days after which an executive vote will be held and the token holders can decide whether to support or reject the proposed changes.

Maker’s Sai Stability Fee Adjustment

With the governance poll integrated into the voting system, the voters will be able to show their support for the Sai Stability Fee within the range of 1% to 7%. The poll will be made active on 9th December and will remain active for three days to 13th December, 5 PM. After the voting is completed on Friday, the MKR token holders will have an executive vote to either reject or support the proposed changes.
