According to an official V-ID tweet, the platform’s VIDT DataLink solution – a blockchain-powered multi-cloud and multi-chain data verification system, will launch on July 1st, 2020.
V-ID ($VIDT) is a blockchain-enabled document certification system that aims to provide the easiest and robust digital data protection against fraud and other ill-practices like data manipulation.
By expertly leveraging the benefits of blockchain tech via VIDT DataLink, V-ID, in collaboration with other companies such as IBM, CMS Law, and AmSpec, seeks to develop numerous new schemes in its rapidly growing ecosystem.
The team behind the new solution notes that the VIDT DataLink will help in “connecting everything to every chain and unlocking practical deployment for any corporate cloud.”
With V-ID, users can verify their confidential files within seconds without requiring any login, plugin, or any additional details. The platform offers an extra layer of security by extracting a distinctive fingerprint of the genuine file and storing it in the blockchain.
Heralding the Era of Fully Decentralized Certification and Verification
With the DataLink setup, V-ID now offers users fully decentralized certification and verification requiring the use of VIDT only and allowing third parties to fully develop their own solutions, backed by any infrastructure and the VIDT smart contract as-is.
Moreover, the platform can now also offer data storage as a complementary feature, so not just the fingerprints, but the actual data itself.
The V-ID Data Link animation also shows a hybrid cloud chain, optionally anchoring to a selection of other blockchains like BTC, DGB, and Binance Chain. With the new upgrade, V-ID will no longer be limited by transaction throughput, peer availability, or network clogging.
VIDT’s blockchain can now take away the substantial knowledge and overhead required to build blockchain-powered applications for corporate use, Dapps, and B2C solutions, enabling a way for even more practical use cases, not limited to digital files per se.
VIDT Is Determined to Tackle Fraud and Boost Interoperability
Daily reports about intensely growing cybercrime, data manipulation, and identity theft in the media are seen as the side effects of digitalization across the full breadth of society.
VIDT utilizes the power of blockchain to make sure that digital advancements in society aren’t held back by sophisticated fraudulent activities.
Essentially, V-ID has been approached by a growing number of people from all kinds of sectors, who see new uses for V-ID’s validation and verification. Whether it’s an SAP to IBM Cloud setup or a Zapier, Azure integration anchoring on Binance Chain, VIDT DataLink provides easy compatibility through the VIDT smart contract and the VIDT API.
Now, with the VIDT DataLink solution, the platform can guarantee full interoperability with and between all possible cloud providers/setups and V-ID certification and verification.
