Groupify is a trailblazing European social shopping company enabling customers of online shops to shop together in real time. Customers who shop in groups receive attractive discounts in the participating shops. Groupify launched in 2018 and is on track to reach more than 10 Mio online shoppers per month by the end of 2019. Alex von Harsdorf, Co-founder and CEO: I was excited to learn about WOM Protocol’s truly decentralised approach, how it can help add an alternative revenue stream to many social platforms while at the same time creating a new trust layer for brand advocacy.

Melanie Mohr, CEO of WOM Protocol Pte. Ldt. outlined further: I am very excited about both partnerships to proof how blockchain and WOM token will be used to create a more authentic marketing channel for brands.

Advanced Store will test and use the WOM Brand Campaign manager to access WOM content and to run campaigns for their many brand partners.

Groupify will work with the WOM team on a WOM Protocol integration similar to its first adopter, the YEAY app. Melanie Mohr: It’s amazing that such an innovative platform like Groupify can envision to use the WOM blockchain solution to authenticate and reward word-of-mouth recommendations.

The next phase of Blockchain adoption needs use cases like this.
